Our Committees
Otu Umunne Cultural Organization as a service organization, has helped Children develop a secure sense of pride in their heritage, helped women create a network of support, strengthened families, and participated in countless events in various communities in Georgia and beyond.
Children/Education
They plan all our children’s cultural activities including summer camp, ensure that our children are enriched with our culture through – plays, dances, folk songs, etc.
Planning Committee
Plan our annual events such as Gala night, and Christmas parties. Arrange for the hall, food, drinks, program book, tickets, raffle advertisement, flyers, entertainment, agenda, etc.
Project Committee/Scholarship committee
For special projects like evaluation and monitoring of Otu umunne scholarship program and impact the future youth development projects.
Outreach Committee
Responsible for our outreach programs and charitable organizations such as March of Dimes, Hosea Feed the Hungry, Med Share, etc.; Orphanages. They organize Community awards such as Impact the Future Award, Adaugo of the Year and plan our annual retreat.
Fundraising Committee
Responsible for planning our annual fundraising and all fundraising drive. Explore new ways and ideas to raise funds, plan and organize brochures for Rite of passage and gala nights and grant writing

Membership Committee
Keep track of all members’ attendance during meeting and during any participated paid event. Keep track of member’s status, benefits and welfare. Shall organize membership drive and orientation of new members, guide, nurture, and educate new members until their six months probationary periods are over.
